Studio/Artist: Steweird.com/Rayman
​By purchasing a commission from Steweird.com, you (the “Client”) agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms ensure a professional, transparent, and creative partnership between the Client and Rayman (the “Artist”).

1. The Tiered Agreement System
Tier 1 (Small/Simple): Agreement is formed via the mandatory checkbox at checkout. The WooCommerce receipt serves as the Work Order.
​Tier 2 (Mid-Range): Agreement is formed via a Project Proposal (Google Doc) provided by Rayman. Payment of the Service Deposit constitutes “Acceptance by Performance” of these terms.
​Tier 3 (Large/Commercial): Agreement is formed via a signed formal contract.

2. Payments & Tax (WA State Nexus)
​Currency: All prices are in USD.
​Sales Tax: As a Washington State business, Steweird.com collects sales tax based on the Client’s location (destination-based sourcing).
​Non-Refundable Deposits: All initial deposits are non-refundable. They secure Rayman’s time and cover administrative/pre-production labor.

3. Workflow & Revisions
​The Process: For most projects, the workflow is: Inquiry → Payment → Sketch → Line/Value → Final Color.
​Included Edits: Tier 1 and Tier 2 projects include three (3) rounds of minor edits.
​Out of Scope: Major structural changes requested after a phase has been approved (e.g., changing the pose after the line art is finished) will incur an additional “Revision Fee” starting at 25% of the total project cost.
​Rayman’s Style: The Client hires Rayman for his specific artistic style. Rayman will not be required to mimic the style of another artist.

4. Kill Fees & Cancellations
​If a project is cancelled before completion, the following Kill Fee schedule applies to protect the Artist’s labor:
​Pre-Sketch: 25% of total cost (Deposit forfeited).
​Post-Sketch: 50% of total cost.
​Work-in-Progress (Coloring/Rendering): 75% of total cost.
​Final Delivery: 100% of total cost. No refunds once final files are delivered.

5. Abandonment Policy
​Client communication is vital. If a Client fails to respond to Rayman’s inquiries for 30 consecutive days, the project will be deemed “Abandoned.” All funds paid are forfeited, the project is cancelled, and Rayman retains all rights to any work produced.

6. Usage Rights & Licensing
​Personal Use: Unless otherwise stated, commissions are for personal use only (social media avatars, personal printing, etc.).
​Commercial Use: Commercial rights (merchandise, branding, advertising) are only granted if a License Fee is paid in full via Steweird.com.
​Artist’s Rights: Rayman reserves the right to display the artwork in his portfolio, on social media, and in “process” videos (TikTok/Twitch) unless a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) is purchased.

7. Chargebacks & Blacklisting
​Steweird.com has a Zero-Tolerance policy for chargebacks.
If a Client initiates a chargeback for custom work:
​All usage licenses are immediately revoked.
​The Client is permanently barred from future commissions.
​The incident will be reported to industry-standard “Beware” databases to protect other artists.

8. Delivery & Physical Goods
Digital-First Delivery: By default, all commissions are digital-only services. No physical items will be shipped unless a specific physical add-on (e.g., POD merchandise or Art Prints) is selected at checkout, or is explicitly defined in a Tier 2 Work Agreement or Tier 3 Commercial Contract.
Third-Party Fulfillment: Physical products are produced and shipped via Third-Party Fulfillment Partners. While Steweird.com/Rayman ensures the quality of the digital source file, we are not directly responsible for shipping delays, carrier errors, or damages occurring during transit.
Shipping Disputes: Any issues regarding physical merchandise must be reported within 7 days of the delivery date recorded by the carrier to facilitate a replacement claim with the fulfillment partner.
Digital Fulfillment Finality: In “Hybrid” orders (Digital Art + Physical Product), the core service is considered delivered and non-refundable once the final digital files are sent, regardless of the shipping status of the physical add-on.
